PAYMENT

Empower YOU Speech & Language Therapy believes in excellent services tailored to meet your individual needs. We are a fee-for-service organization and charge an hourly rate for all services. Services are offered in 30-, 45-, and 60-minute sessions, determined after your evaluation.

Although we are not directly affiliated with insurance companies, we do provide a detailed superbill so you may seek reimbursement from your insurance company. Clients will pay Empower YOU directly and will be provided a superbill for submission to their insurance carrier. Payment is due at the time services are rendered.

If you choose to use a superbill for reimbursement, we recommend verifying your speech-language therapy coverage with your insurance company prior to your evaluation to determine if you need a referral from a physician and to find out specifics regarding the coverage your policy offers. Read more about understanding superbills here.

Effective January 1, 2022, you have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost.

In accordance with the "No Surprises Act," health care providers need to give patients who do not have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services. The estimate is based upon what care is reasonably expected to be, at the time in which the estimate is issued. If there are significant changes to the plan of care due to changing circumstances, a new estimate may be issued.

This applies to individuals who are paying privately, unable to use their insurance benefit, or are uninsured. This does not apply to those who have and utilize their insurance benefits.
