Limited in-home concierge visits are also available for families in Spring Hill, Thompson's Station, Franklin, Columbia, College Grove, and surrounding areas, for an additional travel fee.

DELAYED ECHOLALIA & gestalt language processors
Does your child echo or script to communicate, repeating lines from shows, books, or songs? This is called echolalia, a valid way many children build language. We're trained in Natural Language Acquisition and Gestalt Language Processing, using play, movement, and music to help your child move toward spontaneous, self-generated language.
STUTTERING THERAPY FOR CHILDREN, TEENS, & ADULTS
Stuttering therapy for children is focused on building confidence, decreasing tension, and making speech feel easier. For our youngest clients, parent coaching is central to our approach.
We also provide stuttering therapy for adults. It’s never too late to learn new fluency strategies!

Kimberly Willard, MA.,CCC-SLP/L
Hi, I’m Kim! I am so glad that you’re here. As a speech therapist with over 19 years of experience, both in private practice and public schools, and a graduate of stuttering therapy myself, I believe that we can all become confident communicators– regardless of our differences.
Empower YOU is centered around making speech and language therapy a meaningful and joyful experience for all types of learners. I take a child-centered approach to therapy sessions, supporting connection over compliance. It is my greatest pleasure to see a child fall in love with learning, share their unique thoughts, and feel as special as they are.
In her free time, Kim is usually chauffeurring her wonderful 3 kiddos around town, playing with her golden retriever Goose, wishing she was on a boat, or looking for something to decorate!
My approach blends evidence-based practice with creativity, connection, and a deep respect for each child’s individual communication journey! Nothing is more rewarding to me than watching a child gain confidence and seeing both children and families feel empowered and hopeful throughout the process.

Jennie McAdams, MA.,CCC-SLP/L
Jennie McAdams became a Speech-Language Pathologist because she truly loves helping people find their voice. She believes communication is the foundation of connection, confidence, and success in everyday life.
Jennie began her career practicing in the schools, and then in home health in Texas in 2009, working with children across a wide range of communication needs. After several years in the field, she paused clinical practice to focus on raising her family. That time away deepened her perspective as both a professional and a parent, and strengthened her commitment to supporting families in realistic, meaningful ways.
She is the mom of three children and two rescue dogs, and she brings that same patience, empathy, and flexibility into her work with her clients. Jennie partners closely with families to develop functional goals and practical strategies that carry over into everyday life. Her goal is always to make therapy feel encouraging, effective, and something you will genuinely look forward to.

Carly Goodrich, Ms., CCC-SLP/L
Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
Carly Goodrich is a compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist who is passionate about helping children and families grow in their communication and confidence.
Carly has experience across a variety of settings, including schools, private practice, and skilled nursing facilities, allowing her to support a wide range of communication needs across the lifespan. She especially values building strong relationships with families and collaborating with parents to help communication skills carry over into everyday life. One of Carly’s favorite parts of being an SLP is getting to witness the “it clicked!” moments and celebrate progress alongside the children and families she serves.
When Carly is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their two pugs, reading books, and traveling. Carly’s enthusiasm, passion and love for her clients will ensure your child will thrive!

Step 1: Free Consultation

Step 2: Schedule an EVALUATION
We are currently scheduling evaluations for speech sounds, language delays, stuttering, and Gestalt Language Processing. As the only NLA and Gestalt Language Processing certified practice in Spring Hill, we bring a connection first, child led approach to each evaluation!
Step 3: Start therapy and watch your child grow!
Begin individualized Gestalt Language Therapy, speech, language, or stuttering therapy sessions. We typically meet 1-3 times/week. During each session we will play and work together to reach your child's goals!

Coaching services are for parents and speech-language pathologists and will provide you with answers to questions you may have regarding your child's language skills as well as ways to support your child's language development at school or home.
Insurance & Billing
Empower YOU Speech & Language Therapy is in-network with Cigna and BCBS. We are currently in the process of becoming in-network with UnitedHealthcare, check back for updates. We also offer private pay services and accept HSA, FSA, and Katie Beckett scholarships, so we can meet every family's needs without limitations.
